the juicy insight, and profound power of “Why?”

I was recently blessed to share time with a little person. By little person, I mean a person who is youthful, and little, and asks “why?” frequently. And by frequently, I mean a lot. A Lot.

I was reminded about the importance of that question. Answering Why, indicates our motivation, which can provide profound insight.

What if there was benefit in greeting your life situation with Loving reasons for every event, every activity, every thought, Idea, and interaction.

What if how I do what I do, and even what I am doing, matter less than why.

If every action I take is driven by a deep desire to align more fully, joyfully, and abundantly with Love, then I suspect that even my chores would be profoundly more nourishing, when the reason driving my action was Love.

What if, even taking out the compost, or folding laundry was a way to help me feel more Loved, Lovable, and Loving? I could aptly focus my thoughts on coming up with excellent, nourishing, self-Loving, prosperous reasons for why I do everything I do.

I am finding great joy and ease in indulging in choosing Love, consciously, and then attaching it to the menial tasks of my day to day life. It feels empowered, creative, and silly. Also, I am finding it much easier to do much more, and feel nourished, rather than depleted.

As a free, accessible exercise, that contributes to a conscious practice of Love and gentleness, this one feels like a winner to me. Now I am more aware of my ability to ask “Why?” and my faith in my courage to choose Love as the answer is growing, question by question.

anticipating a super full moon

I am feeling the building of the full moon, and it feels like a rowdy big escalation of energies, on so many levels.

While I have not always felt connected or aligned with my relationship with the moon cycle, and even, for a time, thought that such a thing was a hilarious, meandering path to silly-town, I now notice that my energy, mood, and manifestations have a relationship with the moon.

Now, when I feel a full moon approaching I make a point of sharing extra gentle self-care and attention with myself.  I am opening to new ways to deepen, my breath, and my commitment to living in alignment with the truth that Love for everyone, including me.

It is generally the very last part of that commitment that I trip on, from time to time. Unconditional love is for everyone, easy. Unconditional love is for me; oh right… yes, that.

I have noticed that when I share extra gentle self care, and attention, with simple, consistent acts of Loving care for my self, in anticipation of the full moon, I feel so much more awesome. I am able to enjoy the ebb and flow of energies of the moon cycle, with more gentleness, and less effort.  This particular super, full moon, I am enjoying deep, slow, easy breaths, at least 11 in a row, about every hour. I am helping myself process by walking each day, at a gentle pace, and feeling gratitude for the beauty I witness. I am also remembering to stretch out my chest, neck, and back, for even a few minutes each day. I have noticed that sharing even 2 minutes of focused body-loving stretches helps to open my breath, and ease bodily tension.

I wish everyone a very happy, gentle full moon!

new moon: August 14, 2015

Happy new moon to everyone!

This is a Leo new moon, and a great time for new beginnings and to start new self-Love practices.

I Like to make ‘new moon wishes’ each new moon, to help me focus my self-Love practices.

This is one of my Leo new moon’s wishes:

May each being be blessed to feel Loved,

and breathe deeply, easily, and with great freedom.

happy healing, and happy Friday to all.

Love grows as it is shared

I Love you is such a powerful sentence, especially when it is said, with sincerity, to one’s own heart.

Please consider affirming your Love for your own heart, with this simple, and sincere sentence.  It feels awesome to practice self Love.

I Love you. I Love you. I Love you.

I can feel the Love growing already…

Happy Love-full Friday to all.

first post poem

Yippee Skippy!

My first post, on the new site,

I have so much to say, and so much to write.

Sometimes, though, I find it odd,

when I go to share,  and instead feel awed,

At the brilliance in writing already online

what could possibly be gained, from sharing mine?

Perhaps therein lies the secret, the funny catch,

that mine is unique;  in my heart, it did hatch.

Inspired by Love, and courageous expression

I am practicing Love-based  healing, in every session.

I practice healing, as both a science and an art,

A collaboration with my mind, and heart.

On this site I intend to share,

my heart’s narrative, as I professionally ‘care-bear-stare.’

With Love,

Elizabeth Trask
